PROLOGUE
The story goes down in a Washington town,
Where Bastian Balthazar Bux
Was bullied, chased, and tossed in the waste—
So he buried his nose in books!
The shop-keep was critical, downright cynical;
“You're not prepared for such danger!”
No common crook; the Boy borrowed his book,
Leaving a note for the stranger.
So make the claim to see your name
Penned on the pages of glory,
And soon you'll find you'll be lost in the lines
Of the NeverEnding Story!
